Review: FORAS Sports Quiz
The FORAS Sports Quiz took place on Friday after the Waterford game in the Turners Cross Tavern. A huge crowd turned out for what proved to be a very enjoyable and successful fundrasier. After ten rounds, a three question tie break round was needed to separate two teams that had tied on a very impressive score of 95/100. Congratulations to Team 28 who scooped the first prize of €200. The team consisted of Denis Hurley (pictured above with quizmaster Ruairi O’Hagan), Paul Dollery, Fintan O’Toole & Mark Lehane.
A special word of thanks goes to Dave Galvin as the question setter, Ruairi O’Hagan as quiz master and to the Turners Cross Tavern for their hospitality on the night and organisation in the days leading up to the quiz.
