New board will look to continue off-field progress
Heading into its tenth season of ownership at Cork City FC, the Friends of the Rebel Army Society (FORAS) continues to be the driving force behind improvements at the football club. That was the message heard by the trustees that came from across Ireland to attend the 2019 AGM at the Metropole Hotel in Cork earlier this month.
FORAS AGM to be held this Sunday
The 2019 FORAS AGM will take place at the Metropole Hotel this coming Sunday (January 13th). The meeting will provide trustees with an opportunity to hear a variety of reports and updates from both the supporters trust and football club from the past 12 months, and hear first-hand accounts about the progress being made on and off the field of play. The AGM will also see a number of motions around FORAS‘ constitution up for discussion. Five board of management places are available, with eight candidates putting themselves forward for election.
