Statement from Board of Management

The Board of Management of Cork City FC wish to express our sincere disappointment at contents of the RTÉ Soccer Podcast, released in its original form on Tuesday, July 2nd. The podcast, which featured Adrian Eames, Alan Cawley and Noel Spillane, discussed aspects of Cork City FC’s 2019 season. The original podcast included comments from Noel Spillane regarding the club’s financial budgeting process and derogatory, inappropriate comments about members of the current Board of Management.

“We need Cork to get behind the team,” FORAS chair Declan Carey

FORAS chairman Declan Carey has called on Cork City FC supporters to get behind the team and interim management ahead of Friday night’s SSE Airtricity League class with UCD. A 1-0 win over Bohemians last Friday saw the club secure all three points in Dublin, and Declan is hoping the vocal support in Dalymount Park can be repeated in a few days’ time.

Zac Higgins Fundraiser: Ringmahon Rangers vs Cork City

This Sunday 12th May at 12pm, Ringmahon Rangers take on Cork City FC in a fundraising game in aid of Zac Higgins in Ringmahon Park. Contributions can be made at the gate on the day, with all proceeds going to the Zac Higgins Fund. For the game itself, the current Cork City and Ringmahon first teams will take each other on while there will be a twist in the second half of the game, with legends from both City and Ringmahon taking to the field. City will have legends like Colin Healy, Joe Gamble, Neal Horgan, Dan Murray, Billy Woods...
