Cork City to attend SD Europe network meeting

Representatives of Cork City FC will attend the inaugural Supporters Direct Europe network meeting on September 5th and 6th in Hamburg, Germany. Board members Mike Derham and Niamh O’Mahony will be amongst fan-owned clubs, national organisations and supporters’ groups from 16 countries involved in the two-day conference, which will be hosted by HFC Falke e.V. Infrastructure meeting for FORAS members

Following Cork County Council’s decision to lease a 30-acre site to the FAI in Glanmire, FORAS members have been invited to hear more details about the planned FAI Regional Centre of Excellence on Leeside. The facility is to become a permanent training base for the Rebel Army. The information meeting will take part this Friday evening in the Metropole Hotel from 8pm, and details of discussions will be available for trustees afterwards. FORAS hold 2015 AGM

Just days after celebrating the fifth anniversary of being awarded a licence to play in the League of Ireland, Friends of the Rebel Army Society (FORAS) held its 2015 AGM in the Metropole Hotel on Thursday, February 26th. The meeting kicked off with a Questions & Answers session led by first-team manager John Caulfield, with over 85 FORAS trustees as well as the outgoing FORAS board in attendance.
