At the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Friends of the Rebel Army Society (FORAS) members voted to create a new Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee. The Board of Management of FORAS are now inviting suitable volunteers to apply for a role on the new committee. Update from Board of Management

Last Thursday, the 17th of December, the Board of Management of Cork City Football Club announced that Grovemoor Ltd., and its owner Mr. Trevor Hemmings, had informed us that due to being unable to agree terms on a lease agreement with the Munster Football Association (MFA), that Grovemoor Ltd would not be proceeding with their option to purchase Cork City Football Club at this time. Club Statement

The Board of Management of FORAS can confirm the result of this evening’s vote by members on the Call Option Agreement with Grovemoor Limited. We are pleased to confirm that the members of the Trust have endorsed the Board’s recommendation and have voted in favour of the motion. We have already engaged with Grovemoor Limited on the matter, and a further comment will issue in due course. The Board would like to thank all of our members for their input and their ongoing support.
