The outgoing Board of Management of Cork City FC (FORAS) are pleased to announce that earlier today we have had final sign-off on each of the documents required for the football club to be bought outright by Dermot Usher, which has also been approved by our governing body, the Football Association of Ireland. Outgoing club chairman, Declan Carey, said “This is a great day for Cork City Football Club. We now have a new owner who has the capability to allow our club compete where it should be. Statement from Board of Management

The FORAS Board can confirm that the proposed motion for Mr Dermot Usher to assume control of Cork Ciy FC has passed following a majority vote in favour at today’s Special General Meeting.

Applications for FORAS membership now open

The Board of Management of FORAS is delighted to confirm that as of Tuesday, 1st November, application for membership to FORAS is now open. Prospective shareholders can apply online using our online portal at members.forastrust.ie. After inputting your registration details, you can select the appropriate FORAS membership option. Membership is open to all adults (aged 18 and over) for €120 per year, or €60 for senior citizens. Existing shareholders can login to our online portal to manage your membership, update personal details, payment details and much more.
