FORAS: membership update
Ahead of the next FORAS AGM in February, a working group of volunteers and club staff is currently reviewing and updating the Trustees database to ensure membership fees, contact details and personal preferences are up to date.
Current Trustees:
Have you moved home or changed your email address? Make sure we have your correct contact details by dropping a line to [email protected].
Avail of our regular Trustees email with news about the trust and club as well as occasional competition and special offer. We also hope to detail some new benefits that will be available to trustees from 2013 very shortly.
Expired Trustees:
Unsure of your renewal date? Drop an email to the trust and we can send on all the latest details of your account.
Pay your fees (€120) annually or monthly (€10 pm) through our MyClubFinances system, which gives trustees great flexibility in how they maintain their support for the trust. The system accepts debit and credit cards, while cash and cheques are accepted through the club shop in Douglas Village Shopping Centre and the club offices in Bishopstown.
The working group will be contacting trustees whose expiry date has passed over the coming weeks to go through the options available. If you no longer wish to maintain your shareholding in FORAS, please contact the trust directly at [email protected] and we will begin the process of closing your membership.
New Trustees:
FORAS is an integral part of Cork City FC and will remain an essential support vehicle for the club into the future. The trust continues to be the biggest investor in the club and will also seek to develop additional community and infrastructural projects in the coming months and years.
As a trustee, you will receive a unique trustee number and share certificate. As a shareholder of FORAS, you gain the right to attend trust meetings and AGM, receive audited accounts and vote on all motions (if you’re over 16). You can also have an active input into the policies that guide the trust’s activities and run for election of the Board of Management.
